You have to believe in the law of attraction or the ‘putting it out there’ thought, desire, request, hope for something… This has ‘happened’ to me one too many times now for it to just be coincidence.
For the past month now I have been ‘thinking’ about getting myself a brayer (a roller type thingo that you can dip in paint and it leaves a lovely texture). In fact, I have really wanted one and had had a quick look somewhere on the net for one, but probably got distracted by one of the kids and didn’t pursue it. It has been on my mobile phone ‘out of milk’ shopping list for the past few weeks. I even asked at my local art supply store whether they had any. This is what they look like…
Anyway, it has been in the back of my mind for a while and I just hadn’t got around to really trying to hunt one down.
Well, this morning one of my lovely friends popped in for a cuppa and a play for the kids. She told me she would be nipping into the op shop on her way here. When she arrived she put a box in my hand and said ‘is this something you would use?’. I looked at the box and could not believe my eyes…yes! She had brought me the brayer I was wanting! I said to her I couldn’t believe it and that I had been wanting one for weeks.
We both marveled at how uncanny the situation was.
But was it really that unbelievable?

I fully believe that when you hold an intention in your mind for something, the universe actively goes around and about to bring it to you. It is not a willpower thing such as willing that lotto win. It’s a knowing that something is to come about.
Why am I writing about this you ask? It’s just that life really astounds me. People really astound me. I astound me. The power we all possess to make things happen.
What would the world be like if we all intended to bring a brayer into our hands at once? But instead of a brayer, we all intended for world peace or caring for our planet?
It would be a mighty fine place indeed.
It starts with each and everyone of us.
So, for the next month, I am going to intentionally hold the thought in my mind for selfless caring towards everyone I meet and intend for them to pay it forward.

I love your story! And yes, I absolutely believe in the law of attraction! I am often reminded of the saying “if you build it, they will come.”. It has been so true in my life so many times and each time, feels like a little gift and miracle.
