‘All In Good Time’ Painting Evolving

04/04/2013 By 3 Comments

Hello, I hope you are having a wonderful week wherever you are!

Just wanting to share with you the latest canvas I am working on. Whilst new and still evolving, it has already named itself ‘All In Good Time’. Whether or not this name remains at the completion of the painting remains to be seen.

Anyway, here’s how it looked after it’s first layer or so, mounted on my new set up on my studio wall…

Then some of this happened…

Layers became backgrounds for my artwork on my banners and for my quotes. I love capturing the ‘in between’ painting before more layers obscure. Some beautiful merging of shapes and colours occur that need to be retained in some way.

Here is how the painting is looking at the moment. I like it. I don’t love it. I am not attached to it and am happy for it to go in all sorts of directions.

I am not sure as yet whether the words on the canvas should stay or not.

What do you think?

We will see where it goes next!

Until next time

x Tanya

Playing is part of the evolution and I love it simply for that, what it does next is a mystery, but if you enjoy it, it will show. I love that you are exploring new ways of being. Happy to witness and be here with you in this. :)suzi

Hi Carol, thanks so much for taking the time to comment. Yes, I think you are right…the words have already served their purpose, I will be painting over them tonight! Thanks again. Best wishes x Tanya

I think the painting stands on its own without the words. The words will still be there and you know what went into the process but the painting speaks of the joy of the journey.
