Thank you to everyone who participated in the Giveaway & HUGE congratulations to Carolien!! Thank you also, for all of your beautiful comments that you shared here. I will be going through all the comments once more and taking all of your valuable musings along with me as I prep (I will be rewatching Alice In Wonderland 🙂 ) and paint my Alice lesson for ‘Ever After’ 2019! I have lots of yumminess coming up for my lesson and am WAY excited to create & share with you all! In fact, I’ll tell you a little bit about what is in store for my lesson… My talented friend Claire Kastellan is a multi potentialite ~ she LOVES creating in lots of different media and her incredibly quirky & outrageous imagination is always being expressed through her work. She kindly agreed to photograph (one of her many talents) my god daughter (as my Alice) and my youngest son in her garden last weekend. We assembled all sorts of props and it looked just magical! The idea for the photoshoot came to us when I was visiting her home previously and saw this MASSIVE oversized armchair that screamed ALICE! So I will providing all her beautiful, magical photographs she took as reference photographs for you all, to make your artwork your own! There will be photo reference images of teapots and quaint cups and saucers, a timepiece (from my ancestors), close ups of Alice In Wonderland charms on a bracelet, and many more elements that you can choose to include in your own painting. I am SO excited ~ hope you are too! 🙂 🙂 xx Tanya
I love all things fantasy! I feel really connected to Moana as I journey in connection to all around me and Mother Gaia. Also Avatar….as I grow in remembrance that we are all one, generations past, present and future… A tree of life♡
Hi Tanya! Thank you for this magical opportunity! I would love to live in the story of Alice in Wonderland. I love that everything is possible.
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn’t be. And what it wouldn’t be, it would. You see?” (Lewis Carroll) Believing in a world where everything is possible gives me hope and inspiration for real life. It would be very special to win this spot and get some sparkle and magic in my life ❤ I’ve shared your message on my Fbook art page BonitaHendriksArt ❤
I most identify with Alice in Wonderland as she is a day dreamer and deep thinker and so am I. Thank you for this opportunity. This would be a great opportunity to hone my art skills and get some more ideas from some wonderful talented artists! I would love to win!
For me, I most identify with Maleficent. Something about a person being hurt and turning into a broken person, just to be shown love and compassion again resonate with me. I can watch the movie over and over. This course would mean so much to me. No words can explain. At this time of my life, I’m looking at different directions to make my dreams come true. Being able to identify my own style would be the best gift ever as I still haven’t been able to find it. I’m sending out positive thinking and much love. Thank you for the opportunity. All the way from Cape Town, South Africa xxx
I most identify with Alice in Wonderland as like me she is a deep thonker but still full oh hope
Deep thinker not thonker ha ha
I would love to take this course what an amazing opportunity! I would say I most identify with Alice in Wonderland but also Snow White. I adore original writings of fairy tales! Thank you!
Alice is my favorite but I love all fairytales and everything magical! I looked at Ever After last year and I’d absolutely love to win this opportunity! Thank you!
Oops, I didn’t finish my email. I love all fairytales but Alice is my favorite!
Signed up, shared, and would so love to win a spot as I just love fairy tales! Love the story of Snow White and Rose Red the most.
I can’t say I truly identify with any one character. I enjoy a Jungian perspective where by each character in the stories is an aspect of ourselves from which to learn.
I’ve always been a Cinderella story lover but recently Alice in wonderland has been peaking my interest.
Snow White. But that’s probably because she reminds me of Wonder Woman!🤣
😍 would be so amazing to join Ever After this year!
Hmmm… I think I identify with quite a few, but Alice is the strongest right now. Everything around me seems a bit mad & out of control, so I definitely feel like I’ve fallen down the rabbit hole. Lol… I suppose my clock w/ feet & gold rabbit ears might influence me.😏😅
Identifying closely with Alice these days, as I feel like I’ve tumbled down a rabbit hole of late. Looking forward to slaying a few Jabberwockies (figuratively speaking) in my life.
I mainly identify with the the witches of eastwick. Strong, powerful loving and protective of my loved ones.
I’ve always loved Belle the best. She’s strong, intelligent and capable but still kind and open minded. Thanks for the opportunity
I mostly identify myself with alice! I fell in love with her story after I learned about her in one of these ever after courses. Now I would like to fill up my fairytale art journal for my kids with this last season!! I shared on twitter (Carolien Klapwijk)
Congratulations!, Carolien ~ you have won the free spot on this year’s ‘Ever After’ course ~ yay!!!! See my announcement in this mornings blog post! x
Whoop whoop! Having a little tea party over here 😉.
Can’t believe I won!!
Thank you. Looking forward to seeing your Alice!
X

The Fairy Tale character that I relate to would be Cinderella. I spend a great deal of time helping my elderly mother (she’s not a step) and my disabled sister out. I don’t complain and nor do I expect any pity. I am blessed to have my Mom with us and I’m so fortunate to have such a wonderful sister. My Dad left us when we were young and when I hit my teen years I became the Father of the family both working and going to school and have kept that role until till this day. Again, not looking for any pity as I truly have found the silver lining and the goodness that’s come of this. Money’s not there so hoping to ‘win’ a spot. Thanks for this opportunity.
It would be amazing to win a spot . I have always loved the fairytale ‘thumbelina’ . Thank you
Super excited shout this opportunity. There’s so many fairy tales that I love. Sleeping beauty, Cinderella, Dumbo, Malifecent. All the wonderful teachers and techniques to be taught here is just magical. Crossing my fingers and toes for a spot. Sending much love xxx
Little red riding hood and the big bad wolf, for it’s innocence and wildside.
I think I identify with Belle from Beauty and the Beast because she loved to read and doesn’t conform.
Jack and the beanstalk … inquisitive, courageous, daring
Shared on FB.
I think I’d like to harness a bit of Cinderella’s magic. I’d like to be transformed into a new version of myself and be able to have new experiences.
Thanks for this opportunity to win a place on Ever After! I love the cheshire cat in Alice in Wonderland. Wouldn’t mind a bit of his ability to appear and disappear at times!
I’d love to be…Wendy, or Cinderella, or a mermaid… love all characters.
Thanks for this amazing opportunity.
Fingers crossed!!!
Cheers from Argentina
Analia
I’d say Alice in wonderland cause I’m never really here I’m always in my head in my own world 😆
I would love to experience Wonderland as Alice did! Thank you so much for a chance to win a spot – I’m so looking forward to this round of Ever After!
I identify with Alice, I’m in my own little world away with the fairy’s (or talking caterpillars) sometimes 😆 I also love Beauty and the beast and labyrinth which I know isn’t strictly a fairytale but it is magical and takes me away to another place when I watch
I am probably Alice in Wonderland herself lol
I feel like my fairytale of life is the little mermaid 🧜🏻♀️ Ariel always wanted to be something that she wasn’t and managed to find her way there in the end . I feel like I can relate with how deeply she felt all of her emotions .I too am a deep emotional being and tend to romanticize the world 💜. I really hope I can win this spot I’ve always wanted to try this workshop but never in the right place financially to do so . So maybe I’ll get lucky and my stars will align 🤞🏻✨ I would really like to grow in my art .Thank you so much for the opportunity ❤️
Have always loved The Snow Queen, her intrigue and beauty… why has she done what she does? who is she really?
Every After, for me, is a way to look at the stories within the story of the tale… what else could be going on
in the story that we DON’T see? 😉
Having been the only female in a house full of men for so long (even the dogs… sigh), Snow White definitely speaks to me! LOL But I do see myself as more of an Alice, adventurous, tackling challenges against all odds, puzzling her way through… 🙂
Hi Tanya! Thanks so much for the opportunity to win a spot. If I could harness the characteristics or abilities of one mythical character, it would be the goddess, Artemis, because she is independent, focused and able to take care of herself.
Signed up and shared on fb. Would love to win a spot…thanks forthe opportunity. Has to be Rose Red from Snow White and Rose Red.
It has to be Belle in Beauty and the beast! I am independent, I do not judge anyone by the cover of their book, so to speak. And speaking of books! Like Belle I love to read!!
Thank you so much for the opportunity! 🙂
The Fairy Tale I most identify to is Alice in Wonderland …I love to live new adventures…always ready for a new challenge.
Thank you for this great opportunity!
I love your question re which fairy tale character’s magic would you like to harness … and without a lot of thought (however I will continue to ponder) I would say a fairy “godmother” in the sense of bringing magic to my own self … I would love to win a spot in this course! Thank you!
Not necessarily a fairy tale, but Santa Claus. I love the idea of spreading joy around the world.
I would love to harness a bit of the fairies themselves such as the ones in Sleeping Beauty or the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella
I’m most excited about your lesson! I’d like to channel Alice and go on a great adventure. I posted on FB, tagged you and signed up for your newsletter. All my piggies and toes are crossed.
Right now I’m my life i is art and fairy tales to help my with my chronic pain. When I was little I was all about Cinderella. The Rodgers and Hammerstein version on TV with Leslie Ann Warren and Stuart Damon. I still have those songs on my Playlist and listen to them a lot.
My all time favourite is Gulliver’s Travels , all those feisty little people and Gulliver who travelled! Pure inspiration, today I’m a world wanderer , a lover of tales and an aspiring artist.
Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
My favorite fairy tale is the Ever After movie version of Cinderella – and I could use a little Cinderella mojo these days! The company I worked for laid us all off, my last child just graduated college, and my 50th birthday looms. Things have been crazy and I am in need of some glass slippers and a bubbly Disney-esque fairy godmother!!
I would like to harness the power and love of Maleficent. Despite what happened to her, she learned true love and made a wonderful life for herself and her community.
I would love to be Pippi Longstocking because she is strong & fearless. Thank you so much for the opportunity to win a spot in this awesome Art course. 💕💕💕 (shared on FB & twitter)
I’m truly so excited about this course. I feel like a Princess. 🙂 I’m crossing fingers and toes for a chance to win. My daughter and I will be doing paintings forever. My favorite fairy tale is The Little Mermaid and Dumbo. I simply can’t wait for this class to start. Sending much love xxx
So super excited about Ever After! I signed up for your newsletter and tweeted the giveaway. Thanks for the opportunity! I identify most with strong fairy tale and mythical story characters, such as Eowyn from Lord of the Rings and Hermione from Harry Potter. I’d like to create a parallel version of myself, I think, into a mythical character who embodies strength, passion and bravery!
Hi Tanya
Not exactly a fairytale, but Merida from the movie Brave is such a strong, independent character; I want to incorporate more of her wonderful attitude into my life. I already have her red, curly hair, so that’s a start…!
Shared on FB, signed up to newsletter. Thanks for the chance to win.
Thank you so much for this opportunity to win a spot on Ever After 2019! I would like to harness some magic from Alice in Wonderland. I really think I need to allow myself to fall down the rabbit hole a bit and explore my creativity and art in different and unique ways and let go of the perfectionism and critical voice <3
Who do I relate to? Rapunzel, I think. I have power and resources within myself and I need to believe I can use them to experience the world. I feel locked in a tower but it is an illusion. I have trusted the wrong people. I want to expand my world and experience beauty.
Thanks so much for the opportunity! My favorite fairy tale….hmmmm….not sure. One where she saves herself lol! I shared on FB and Twitter. Again, thanks for this chance!
I’m so excited about this opportunity…what an amazing gift anyone can receive. To be taught by all these amazing artists..wow. I’m feeling very positive that whoever receives this spot will enjoy the classes tremendously. I know I would. As I have an 8-year-old daughter, we would be able to use this as bonding time and learn about all the Fairy Tales she loves. She loves any fairytale that has animals in them, which is almost all of them. LOL. But I think “The Little Mermaid” and “Dumbo” will always be some of my favourites. Although our financial situation is a disaster at the moment, we would definitely make the best of this opportunity. Crossing fingers and toes. Sending much love from South Africa xxx
