How ‘Night Canopy Courting’ evolved

28/03/2013 By Leave a Comment

Apologies once again for my tardiness. Aside from being a busy mumma, my immediate attention radar has been focused on some beautiful people who stayed with us for several weeks. We had a blast. I got in touch with the child within…shoot off at the mouth talking and jokes, playing chasey, dish washing bubble fights, serious, world problem solving convo’s, sewing, op shopping, eating, relaxing, coffeeing, eating, shopping, drinking, shopping, crafting, facebooking, eating, hugging, drinking, eating, laughing, hugging, being silly…WOW! I have been busy! This is why I haven’t painted nor blogged. Please accept my apologies.

Now, what I really wanted to talk about is this. How my pink birds & jumping fish painting came into being…from woe to go. Here goes…

A blank canvas and then a lot of paint…

1 Copy of canvas 3 first few layers watermarked lower resa bit more paint…and an elephant head appearing…

2 Canvas 3 next few layers lower res watermarkedand some more…with another little bird wanting to be birthed…

3 canvas 3 and the next few layers (3) lower resa little bit more…

4 Copy of canvas 3 4th layers (13)a bit of removing here…

5 Copy of canvas 3 5th layer good lower res(5) watermarkedand a little adding there…

6 Copy of Canvas 5 Final lower res watermarkedThis is where ‘Night Canopy Courting’ is at now. I was looking at it today afresh and whilst I had thought it was finished, I am thinking there is a tad more I would like to do to it.

Will ponder and reflect a bit more!

Blessings,

x Tanya
