My Soul~Soothing Studio Space

14/10/2012 By 5 Comments

For all my fellow flyers out there.

I have felt so inspired by your pics of your creative spaces. I wish I could teleport myself into your rooms and just sit and ask you what it is you are creating at the moment? what materials and mediums are you are using and where did you get them? do you listen to music whilst you work? do you have your computer in your creating room? what is inspiring you at the moment? etc etc!

Anyway, I thought I would share my little studio space as well. I shifted things around a bit today as the sewing gear was dominating my space and I wanted to spread my painting and drawing supplies out. Whilst I haven’t got my room how I would like it as yet, the feeling of my heart lifting and my soul resting as I walk into the room is priceless.

Here it is. And yes, it was only just tidied!

I am too embarrassed to share the view of the room from the other direction at the moment as it is very messy and disorganized! Once school goes back this week I will get onto it!!

Can’t wait to see some more studio spaces from you all.

Happy flying this week guys!

xx Tanya

LOVE your studio! Very bright and light and my my aren’t you organized 🙂 I do my art in the livingroom. I have my supplies in the bedroom. It is not ideal but it works for me. And sometimes I leave my mess, the stuff I am working on for days spread around the whole livingroom for days! And usually it’s not one project I am working on but several. Only my best friend is allowed in on those days. Cannot share the state of my livingroom with anybody else. The horror.

    greetings from Amsterdam

What a nice, light filled space! I am a bit jealous of your beautiful, big window, letting in all that glorious light! But I’m so happy you are making room for your painting. Hooray for you!!
